Thousands of people from all over Croatia and beyond joined on Saturday, 18. November 2017. The marking of the event in the City of hero and this year gathered veterans and members of their families, families of the victims, killed and missing Croatian defenders, the entire state leadership - the President of the Republic of Croatia Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović, the President of the Croatian Parliament Gordan Jandroković and the Prime Minister of the Republic of Croatia Andrej Plenković, Ministers of Croatian Veterans and Interior Tomo Medved and Davor Božinović, as well as other ministers, members of parliament, secretaries of state, representatives of the Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Defence, police Directorate, Armed Forces, county, cities, church authorities, members of veterans' associations from the Homeland War, historical units and pilgrims from all parts of the Republic of Croatia.
