National Day of the Republic of Croatia

On the occasion of celebrating the Statehood Day of the Republic of Croatia 30. May (Thursday) 2024. will be held in Zagreb on the Jarun:
– 08,30 – 18,00 hours weapons exhibition, combat and non-combat techniques and equipment of units, and products and services of veterans' cooperatives (Navy, MUP, MHB, HGSS, Croatian Fire Brigade Association, Directorate of Civil Protection and the Croatian Red Cross)
– 12,30 – 16,00 hours, a military lunch will be organized for citizens
– 15,00 – 17,00 o'clock (road and stage) there will be a cultural and artistic manifestation in which the Zagreb majorettes will take part, Tie-regiment, KUDs and flaps
– 17,00 demonstration exercises of the Ministry of Interior and the Armed Forces of the Republic of Croatia will be held.

In memory of Allen Bartoš 1958. – 2024.

It is with great sorrow and sadness that we inform you that today 30. March 2024. in 66 in the year of his life, after a short and serious illness, our professor Allen Bartoš left. Long-time president and one of the founders of the Veteran Sports and Recreation Association 91. Volunteer of the Homeland War, RVI, President of the Society of Medical Radiologists of Croatia, vice president of the UDVDR of the Republic of Zagreb County, President of the Association for Sports and Recreation of Croatian Veterans and Disabled People of the Homeland War of the Republic of Croatia,  member of the Organizing Committee of the international scientific conference "Society and Technology", deputy director of the Center for Croatian veterans and their family members of the Republic of Croatia, director of the Center for Croatian veterans and their family members in the City of Zagreb, vice president of the Zagreb Parasports Association and author of many scientific and professional works. His wish was for Croatian veterans to become, in the true sense of the word, addicted to a healthy way of life, as Allen Bartoš used to say – "The future is not what we expect from it, but what we make of it ourselves."

Notice for Croatian war invalids and civilian invalids from the Homeland War – issuance of National ID cards for persons with disabilities and European parking tickets for persons with disabilities

As part of the EU project MOSI - Improvement of the system of using the rights of persons with disabilities in the field of mobility whose beneficiary is the Ministry of the Sea, traffic and infrastructure, based on the new of the Act on Traffic Privileges, Agency for commercial activity (AKD) begins to process data by official duty for issuance European and National identity cards and European parking cards for persons with disabilities.
The first issuance of new documents is taking place without submitting a request by the user, based on disability/disability information from Register of persons with disabilities at the Croatian Institute of Public Health and data from other registers within the public administration that are necessary for granting rights and issuing documents. Using the National ID card for people with disabilities quickly and easily proves the right to certain benefits, and the granting of the right to privileges in the field of mobility takes place entirely digitally, without the need to visit counters and institutions. The right to issue documents is exercised by persons with disabilities according to the criteria set out in the Act, a new documents will be sent to their address of residence in the Republic of Croatia. With the national ID card for persons with disabilities, privileges can be obtained in four areas (the card will indicate which privilege can be used in accordance with the criteria from the Traffic Privileges Act) – rail and sea passenger transport, when using highways and using public roads. Everyone who exercises their rights to a National ID also gets a European one, which, in accordance with the proposal of the new EU Directive, enables equal access to benefits in all member states that are primarily focused on the field of tourism, cultures (museums, theaters, concerts) the sports. Users are invited to check and enter all their information immediately (total bodily harm, physical impairment that refers to damage to the lower extremities, degree of functional impairment...) and Register of persons with disabilities, by contacting the e-mail address invaliditet@hzjz.hr. Residence in the Republic of Croatia is a prerequisite for issuing documents.
We invite all Croatian war invalids and civilian invalids from the Homeland War to check their status and associated rights on the cards and to report any irregularities to the e-mail address invaliditet@hzjz.hr or to the number 08000-440 or to the Ministry of Croatian Veterans at numbers 01/2308-521 or 01/2308-817.

28. Anniversary of Storm Operation

Dana 5. August 2023. in Knin, the Day of Victory and Homeland Gratitude and the Day of Croatian Veterans were solemnly and dignified and 28. the anniversary of the military police operation Storm. Right in 9:43 h as before 28 year, the Croatian flag flew on the mast from the very top of the Knin fortress, accompanied by the ringing of church bells, reminding us of the moment when members of the Croatian Army entered Knin during Operation Storm.
The joint wreath was laid by representatives of the families of the deceased, of deceased and missing veterans in VRO Oluja, HRVI, war commanders and representatives of associations from the Homeland War, the highest state delegations, and representatives of counties and cities.

Day of Croatian defenders of Zagreb County

Dana 1. July 2023 .in Sveti Ivan Zelina, a ceremony was held to mark the Day of Croatian Veterans of the Zagreb County. The commemoration ceremony began with the laying of wreaths and the lighting of candles at the central cross-monument to veterans who died in the Homeland War., at the Saint Ivan Zelina City Cemetery. The memorial mass for all dead and deceased Croatian veterans was held in the parish church of St. John the Baptist. The central ceremony marking the Day of Croatian Veterans of Zagreb County was held at the Sports and Recreation Center. Mayor Hrvoje Košćec spoke at the marking ceremony, Ervin Kolarec, Deputy Prefect of the Zagreb County and Tomo Medved, Vice President of the Government of the Republic of Croatia and MHB. Allen Bartoš and Mario Sačer with members of the association were at the ceremony marking the Day of Croatian Veterans of Zagreb County.

Exhibition “Unforgettable and pictures of the war-eye camera”

Dana 21. June 2023. The opening of the exhibition was held in the Gallery of the Special Police in Zagreb “Unforgettable and pictures of the war-eye camera”. The exhibition was organized by the Croatian Association of Parents of Veterans of the Homeland War, under the auspices of the Ministry of Croatian Veterans. Hrvoje Zovko, president of the Croatian Journalists' Association, spoke at the opening of the exhibition, dr.sc. Špiro Janović, State Secretary in MHB and Lucija Kober, president of the community. Mario Sačer and Allen Bartoš were at the opening of the exhibition.

Emission “Challenges and opportunities”

Dana 27. May 2023. year in the show “Challenges and opportunities” editor and presenter Hana Lukić on TV Mreža, the guest of the show was Allen Bartoš, the author of the book “The kinesiological-health significance of physical activity in the daily life of people with disabilities”. “Martyrs' Day”

Dana 22. April 2023, and on the occasion of the second day of Eid al-Fitr, it was celebrated “Martyrs' Day” of Croatian Bosniak defenders who died in the Homeland War organized by the Association of Bosniak Veterans of the Homeland War of the Republic of Croatia , The Association of the Honorary Platoon of Bosniaks and the Council of the Bosniak National Minority of the City of Zagreb, under the auspices of the Ministry of Croatian Veterans. After Tevhida for all the dead, Wreaths and flowers were placed on the memorial in front of the Islamic Center in Zagreb to the missing and deceased veterans of the Homeland War and appropriate speeches..

11. the traditional Christmas tennis tournament

Dana 18. December 2022. was held 11. Traditional Christmas mixed doubles tennis tournament. The tournament was held on the courts of ŠRC Trnje in Zagreb.
The results : 1. Nives Petreković-Davor Završak; 2. Zrinka Šimunović-Davor Majcen; 3. Goddess Rubić-Andrija Vukadin; 4. Anamarija Velić-Josip Kalaica.

Lecture “THE KINESIOLOGY ASPECT OF IMPROVING PSYCHOSOMATIC CAPABILITIES IN THE FUNCTION OF IMPROVING THE HEALTH OF CROATIAN VETERANS AND MEMBERS OF THEIR FAMILIES”

Dana 8. November 2022. In 2010, organized by the Croatian National Association of Croatian Veterans Affairs, a lecture was organized for Croatian veterans and their family members, as well as for all interested members of the public, at the University of Hospitality and Tourism in Zagreb. The topic of the lecture was: "KINESIOLOGICAL ASPECT OF IMPROVING PSYCHOSOMATIC CAPABILITIES IN THE FUNCTION OF IMPROVING THE HEALTH OF CROATIAN VETERANS AND MEMBERS OF THEIR FAMILIES". The lecture was held by Prof. Dr.Sc. Mirna Andrijašević, head of the chair for kinesiological recreation and kinesitherapy at the Faculty of Kinesiology, University of Zagreb. The moderator of the meeting was M.Sc. Allen Bartoš. The gathering was greeted by the President of the UDVDR of the Republic of Croatia, Colonel-General Dr. sc. Slavko Baric.
