Sports Association of Zagreb presented the book “Psychological knowledge and tools in the sports practice - a manual for trainers“. Promotion was held on Tuesday, 17. November 2017. in the cinema hall of the Student Center of the University of Zagreb. This valuable work by Boris Balent, Ana Kobilšek and Hrvoje Sasek with the participation of the Sports Association of the City of Zagreb (publisher) and Croatian association of sports psychologists. With authors, The book was presented reviewer Professor Ksenija Bosnar and Professor Jadranka Kolenović - Đapo, and executive editor Dr.. sc. Miroslav Hrženjak. Editor Secretary SSGZ Zdenko Antunovic, and publisher of Sports Association of Zagreb. Special guest at the event was dr.sc. Juri Hanin from Finland (Associate in chapter), one of the largest technical authority in the field of emotions in sport.
Each of the thirteen chapters of the manual contains a theoretical framework, practical aspect, lots of exercises and techniques, and a list of literature for those who want to expand their knowledge of psychology of sport.
