Dana 11. July 2016. at the Ministry of Veterans held a meeting on the work of project teams, comprehensive law on the rights of Croatian war veterans and members of their families and the health of Croatian defenders. The meeting was attended by ministers and Tomo Medved Miro Kovac. Minister of Veterans Affairs Tomo Medved issued the fact that in the first six months of the current year have died 1479 Veterans. Proposed are important measures for this alarmingly information, and these are the first systematic reviews for this vulnerable population in order to prevent at least some disease and to halt the trend of high mortality Veterans.
