Memorial indoor soccer tournament “Mario Babić” it is launched 1994. in memory of the first fallen defender in the defense of the sovereignty of the Republic of Croatia from the municipality of Trešnjevka, so it has the character of a traditional sports competition. From a small local tournament, today it is a tournament of wider significance, and is now held not only in memory of Mario Babić, the first killed veteran from the Municipality of Trešnjevka, but also for all veterans who gave their lives for Croatia.

Central celebration 27. anniversary of the military operation Maslenica was held in Zadar on Monday, 20. January 2020. The. In memory of these historic days, Zadar on the streets of the morning playing reveille, and at the Central Cross in the Zadar City Cemetery delegation laid wreaths and lit candles in honor of the fallen Croatian soldiers in Operation Maslenica, which is one of the first great liberation operations of the Croatian Army and police, and in which the only 72 hours released almost a hundred square kilometers of previously occupied Croatian territory.

From 15.-16. November 2019. in Zagreb was held 7. sports competition for children with disabilities under the name “OUR RIGHT TO SPORT” which has brought together over a hundred children from all over Croatian. Starting rank sports competition of this year's ZŠSOI in partnership with the Center for Education and Counseling of the sun and the Swimming Club NATATOR. The goal of the competition “Our right to sport” it is, besides socializing and providing opportunities for children with disabilities to demonstrate their skills,also encourage all citizens in raising awareness of the challenges of children with disabilities,problems of their families and the general problem of people with disabilities and at least briefly reflect on their relationship with them.

Dana 2. December 2019. in KD Lisinski ceremony was held marking the International Day of Persons with Disabilities and 73. birthday Facilities “URIHO”. As part of the ceremony was held a round table on “Alzheimer's and people with disabilities”, and award ZŠSOI najbolijim athletes for 2019.

Dana 03. December 2019. in hospitality and tourism education institution in Zagreb, organized by the Association of Volunteers and Veterans of the Homeland War of the Republic of Croatian was held lecture "Physical activity Croatian veterans and their families as a form of disease prevention." The lecturers were prof.dr.sc. Zoran Kušević, dr. with., psychiatrist who has lectured on the topic of post-traumatic stress disorder yesterday-today-tomorrow, to mr.sc. Allen Bartos on the topic of physical activity in disease prevention Croatian veterans and their families. Upon completion of the present expressed their satisfaction with the transferred knowledge from the lecturer to the population of Croatian war veterans and members of their families.
