Marking began by paying tribute to the fallen Croatian defenders, laying wreaths and lighting candles at the foot of the Central Cross in the town cemetery in Zadar. In the military-police operation “Maslenica” in only 72 hour and with the participation of all three branches of the Armed Forces released over one hundred square kilometers of previously occupied Croatian territory which allowed re road linking the mainland of Dalmatia Croatian.
